The next few weeks flew by with much the same, Jena escorting and bringing home only her "special" clients. Meanwhile, Robin was keeping busy at her news station. They kept her so busy she only had time to work and sleep. Jena was getting frustrated with the lack of time spent with the love of her life. She still held her when they slept and they snuggled awake in the mornings but the young woman was always called into work before they could go further. So, both would separate feeling sexually aroused. Jena would take it out on her dates, especially if she had sex with them. They would be surprised but pleased with the kink she offered them.

One evening Robin came home early after a very frustrating day. She had been so tired that her boss forced a week long vacation on her. Basically, she was suspended for that time. And fortunately it was with pay, since she didn't do anything damaging just a little embarrassing and more for her than for the station.

As she entered the house, she heard the noises Jena usually only made for her. She heard the sensual moans and then the laughter from her nightmare hit her square in the face as she heard Warren's throaty chuckle. Robin threw open the door and walked into her nightmare come true.

"Robin?! What are you..." Jena tried to talk through the thrusts Warren continued to administer. "...doing... home?" she finally finished in a pant.

Warren, ignoring the young woman in the door way, continued his thrusting. He was going to come anytime and she wasn't going to ruin it for him. They were in a "dog-style" position. Warren on his knees behind Jena who was on her hands and knees on their bed.

Robin was stunned as she watched Warren groan out his release and slump over Jena's back. She pulled her eyes away from the scene and landed them on Jena's eyes. The hurt very evident in them. She closed the door and left the penthouse.

For Jena, the mood was smashed and she pulled herself out from under Warren. He tried to grab her and pull her back to the bed for snuggle time. "Warren, Stop!" Jena yelled as she spun out of his reach and put on her robe.

He stepped to her, trying to wrap his big arms around her. She rebuffed him. "I thought we had something going here!" he yelled. "Are you going to let that kid break us up?"

"That kid..." Jena said using his term for her lover. "...is hardly a kid... and the woman I'm in love with. She's got more than you will ever have. She has my heart," Jena said honestly. "Now I have a bit of damage control to attend to. Excuse me. Please leave as soon as you are dressed. And don't call again, Warren. You are off my clientele." With that said, Jena left, muttering to herself.

Robin knocked on Rachel's door. Unfortunately, the young woman wasn't home and Robin fell against the wall, sliding down to the floor. The tears she had managed to keep at bay up to this point flooded her eyes. She wrapped her arms around her knees and dropping her head, hid her tears in her jeans.

That's how Jena found her - outside Rachel's apartment, shoulders bouncing with her sobs.

"Robin?" Jena didn't wait for an acknowledgement she just stepped over and kneeled, taking the tired woman into her arms. "I'm sorry. I've just been frustrated these last few weeks. All I want to do right now is hold you in my arms and never let go."

Robin turned her head and buried it in her lover's neck. "While I'd love that, too. We both know that eventually one of us would have to go back to work. But the good news is, I'm all yours and completely available for the next week," Robin stated then looked up into Jena's eyes and smiled through her tears.

"What?" Jena asked hopefully. "What happened? Did you get fired?"

"No. I was not fired. More like forced vacation. Wayne sent me home for the next ten days. I did something that made them realize I needed a break."

"What did you do?"

"I'd rather not talk about it. But you can see it on the six o'clock news if you have a mind to watch it today. But right now I need to sleep."

"Come on, lover-girl..." Jena felt Robin freeze as she said the term of endearment.

"Please don't call me that. In my nightmare you called me that just before you told me you were marrying Warren," Robin pleaded.

"Okay, love. Sorry. Let's get you home, though. I want to hold you while we nap," Jena said as she helped Robin to her feet.

As they slipped into bed, Jena spooned behind Robin. They had slept like this many times before and both found it a very relaxing position. The young editor/producer was asleep before her head hit the pillow. Jena smiled at the light snore of her partner. She knew her snores only came when she was either sick or extremely exhausted. Hearing the noises, Jena knew her lover would be asleep for hours.

She made a decision and extricated herself from the embrace. She made a few phone calls and had her plans made for the week.

As Robin groggily arrived in the real world, she smiled into the breast she had unconsciously snuggled on as she slept. She slowly rolled her eyes to her companion's face. The blue irises were hidden behind closed lids.

Once Jena's plans were set, she'd taken a quick shower then slid into bed beside her partner. As she laid there on her back thinking about the week to come, Robin rolled over and nestled her lover, draping a leg over her rather possessively. Jena grinned. "Even in your sleep, you own me. Heart, Mind, Body (shared), and Soul," Jena whispered to the young woman. 'Shared...' Jena thought. 'Hmmm. I think I'm going to have to change that... very soon.' With her mind starting new plans, Jena joined her lover in sleep.

Robin perched her chin on Jena's breastbone and watched her love sleep. Those blue orbs made an appearance then shielded beneath naturally tanned lids again. "Hey, whatcha' doin'?"

"Watching you... sleep. Did you have a nice nap?" Robin asked sweetly.

Jena nodded. "Did you, my love?" she asked, still keeping her eyes firmly closed.

"Yeah. Look, I'm sorry about what happened with Warren today. I shouldn't have come in on you like that," Robin apologized.

"Don't worry about it. I told him not to call for me again," Jena explained. "I think he's been jealous of you since that night at the club."

"Really?" Robin intoned with a grin. "Why? Just because I have your heart, mind, body - though that is shared - and soul?"

Jena laughed. her lover did know her. Knew her very well. She tweaked the button nose of her heart's desire. "Yes. Though my body won't be shared this week. Let's get a shower..."

Robin jumped up right away and straddled her lover's waist. "Oh, sure!" She began pulling off her shirt. Jena saw her opportunity and took it. She brought her hands up and caressed the warm flesh presented to her. Robin moaned. "Oh, Jena, I've been wanting to do this for so long. How do we live without it?"

"I don't, Sweetheart. That's part of the problem, remember," Jena teased.

Robin looked down at her lover. "Oh, yeah." Jena's hands roamed the skin of her companion eliciting a nice groan. "Please, love, it's been too long for me. Can we remedy that tonight?" Robin begged in a moan.

"Oh, sure!" Jena mimicked Robin's earlier enthusiasm, as she teased taut nipples and sat up, taking one into her hot, moist mouth. Red lips closed over one tight nipple. Teeth pulled and a tongue played, making it tighter and the owner moan again with the pleasure of it all. "We can remedy that right now." Jena proceeded to turn the tables on her partner, flipping her onto her back. It was turning out to be a good evening. Robin sat in the spa, letting the jets beat against her aching muscles. Her companion, sitting next to her, had completely satisfied her and now she soaked up the warmth, letting her muscles turn to mush.

"So, what else do you have planned for us tonight?" Robin asked, liking the plans so far.

"We have dinner reservations for eight o'clock, so, we better get going..." Jena whispered into the convenient ear next to her.

"Where are we going?" Robin asked, reasonably.

"It's a surprise," Jena grinned back with her answer.

"Well, how will I know what to wear if I don't know where we're going?"

"I've already laid out your clothes. You just have to get showered and dressed," Jena said as she kissed her companion's forehead and exited the hot tub. "Oh, and Obsession is definitely your perfume," Jena hinted.

Robin smiled at the compliment. She had bought some a few weeks after they had moved in together and had been using it sparingly, only when she went out dancing or to parties with their friends. Now that she knew Jena liked it, she planned on wearing it more often.

Jena drove her Mustang Convertible, convertibly. Robin was glad her partner had taken the extra time to braid her hair for her. And had fix it in an elegant style. Jena's hair was pulled back as well but only the sides were tied in back. Once they reached their destination it would be untied and allowed to flow over her shoulders.

As they pulled into the valet parking entrance, Robin's jaw dropped. She'd always wanted to go on a date to an elegant restaurant. But being an average girl in an average family of average means, she had not been able to. Now, she knew why her lover had picked out a dress for her.

While her dress was beautiful and she looked good in it, Jena's tuxedo suit was mind blowing. Her breath had gushed from her lungs upon seeing her lover in the suit. And the stunning blue eyes were heavily accented with a dark eyeliner and mascara. Jena, Robin knew, could make anything look good but this suit on her lover was drop-dead gorgeous. Robin took her lover's proffered arm and entered the fashionable dining establishment.

They talked about the week to come and then went on to other topics.

As dinner finally wound down, Jena popped the big surprise. "We're going on a trip, love. Just you and me."

Robin gasped. "What?" Her eyes held a delighted twinkle in them that let Jena loved to see. The twinkle that still showed her lover's childhood awe. "Just us? As in you and me? No one else? No work, no escorting? Nothing?"

"Nope. Just us... and the other passengers," Jena hinted.

"Passen..." Robin questioned. "Where are we going?"

Jena just smiled. "That," she kissed her love. "is..." another kiss. "a..." kiss. "Surprise." Jena ended the sentence with a kiss so long and passionate that the people around them started squirming. Robin's hormones wanted Jena for dessert when the waiter arrived to offer them the dessert tray.

Jena, however, chose one for the two of them to share.

"When do we leave on our trip?" Robin asked as they split the cake slice. "And how long is this vacation?"

Jena swallowed the cake then answered. "The trip is about four nights and five days. We'll return to our regular lives by next Saturday. But for the next five days, you're mine..." Jena purred into her lover's ear.

Robin shivered with the anticipation of the night's activities.

The ship was huge. Robin and Jena walked hand in hand down the tunneled entry. There were several crewmembers there to greet them. "Hi, welcome aboard," one perky blonde woman spoke.

Robin was still in awe, so Jena took over the task of finding their room. "Hello, I'm Jena and this is the love of my life, Robin," Jena shook all three greeters' hands.

"I'm Barbara, your cruise director, if you have any needs..." Barbara leered at Jena. "Please don't hesitate to ask for me. And I do mean any needs."

Jena noticed the leer directed at herself and that Barbara never once looked at Robin. Pulling out of her awestruck state, Robin noticed it, too.

As Jena and Robin checked in, Warren was making plans of his own. He wanted Jena in the worst way. He hated the whole gay lifestyle and the miscreants who live it. He couldn't see his Jena as one of those people. This girl was just work. Maybe if he could get Jena away from that trash, then she would see things clearly and his way.

He dialed the agency to set up a date with Jena.

"I'm sorry, sir. Jena is not around this week. And it's a shame, too. You're the fourth person who's called today, asking for her. I hope that girl she's with is worth losing a large check over. Some of these people would have paid good money to be with her this week."

"Where has she gone? Is she at home?" Warren asked irritatedly.

"I'm sorry, but that's classified information," the perky voice answered, grating on Warren's already fragile nerves.

"Thank you," Warren grated out. "I'll call or come by sometime next week, then," Warren lied.

"Well, sir, if you're looking for a pretty woman for a party, we do have other smart and beautiful women, here."

"No!" Warren yelled as he hung up the phone angrily. "Where could she have taken that little tart?!" he muttered angrily to himself.

An idea germinated in his mind and he picked up the phone again.

The room was still, only the sound of a phone ringing gave way to any activity in the penthouse of Jena and Robin. On the third ring, Jena's voice answered, "I'm sorry, but we can't come to the phone right now. But if you leave a message for Jena and or Robin, please don't hesitate to do so. Answering Machines are our friends. They keep up in touch with one another... BEEP!"

Warren, irritated at getting the machine, listened and left a short message. He figured that if Jena did check her messages, she'd want to call him back. And they would be able to talk without the "Brat" getting any ideas.

Robin and Jena had made it to their room and unpacked long before the hip was scheduled to set sail. As they closed the door to their cabin, Robin surprised Jena with a hot, passionate kiss, pushing her against the wall and rubbing her body seductively. As she pulled away, "Thank you, my love. I'm so happy. Can we go for a romantic moonlight stroll around the whole ship, every night?"

Jena kissed her back with as much passion and fervor as she was just kissed. "We can do anything," another kiss. "And I mean anything," kiss. "you want." Jena, smirking, walked down the corridor.

Robin, completely in awe, turned and, shaking her head to clear it, trotted to catch up with Jena. The younger woman grasped her lover's hand, as they went up on deck.

They were given a bit of confetti to toss as the ship pulled away from the dock.

Robin leaned against the top level railing and watched the people waving. Jena stood just behind her and to the right with her left arm around Robin's waist. They looked like the perfect couple, more in love than any of the other couples on board.

Robin threw the paper bits out and over the edge, adding it to the malay. She leaned back into the nice smelling body. Jena threw her confetti as well, before encircling Robin's waist with both arms.

Robin turned and leaned up for a kiss. Both women tuned out the world around them. The packed deck watched them with glowing smiles. Robin pulled reluctantly back to breathe. Her fingers glided across Jena's cheek. Her eyes watching those ruby lips as they parted and descended down for another taste of her favorite producer.

"I gotta tell you, Robbie, I'm so proud of you. Every time I see your name come up as a producer on those news casts, I think, 'that's my girl'." Jena held her lover as they walked away to get ready for dinner.

Dinner at the Captain's table was nice but Robin wanted alone time with Jena. Plus, she hadn't liked the way the captain was touching her partner. While the passengers might have been mostly gay, the crew was not. And the Captain was flirting with her Jena. Robin thought she was hiding her jealousy rather well until she felt Jena's hand lightly stroke her thigh, letting her know that her feelings had been discovered.

Jena leaned back in her chair resting her arm on the back of Robin's chair and she gently rubbed her back, soothing ruffled feathers.

Robin leaned back into the touch, resting her head on Jena's shoulder. The woman looked on fondly at her snuggly lover.

The Captain saw it as two friends who were very close. He was oblivious to Robin's jealous stirrings. "Looks like your friend there could use a bit of sleep," he intoned. "After you help her back to your cabin, maybe you could come back and meet me for a drink in the bar... then maybe we could take a spin on the dance floor?"

"Thank you, Captain, but no thanks. My lover and I need to take a quick stroll then off to bed..." Jena told him firmly.

He graciously accepted her decline, still secretly hoping that he would at least get a chance to buy her an drink and waltz her around the dance floor once before the end of the cruise. As they left the table, he thought to himself, "Why is it that all the gorgeous ones are either married to ugly guys, or in love with each other?"

While the women got to know the ship in the early afternoon and then ate with the captain, Warren had been busy himself. He tried to find out where Jena had snuck off to and it irked him to know that it was with that "Brat". After several failed attempts through friends and family, he went to Jena's agency that afternoon.

The receptionist he'd spoken with earlier in the day was gone. Her replacement, who had a secret crush on Jena and didn't like Robin at all, gave Warren the cruise information without hesitation. So, he made some arrangements to meet up with the ship the next day.

The moon shone bright and full as Jena, having promised Robin a romantic moonlit stroll, held her sleepy-eyed companion. The cool night air seemed to wake Robin's lethargic mind. With a brisk breeze ruffling her hair, Robin leaned back into her lover's embrace. They had stopped at the bow to look at the sea and the moon. "Oh, Jena, thank you for this whole wonderful trip. I think it's going to be exactly what the bosses ordered," Robin said as she laid her hands over the larger ones around her waist. "And thank you for remembering our stroll." Robin smiled.

As Jena squeezed a bit, Robin hummed with pleasure. "You're welcome, Sweetheart. We want to do this every night of the trip, right? So, why not keep with that schedule?"

Robin looked up and back toward Jena. "You're right, my love." Robin hesitated whether to tell of her insecurities or not, fearing that Jena would get tired of comforting her of them and leave. Robin was thick of head when it came to believing herself worthy of love.

It really wasn't that she didn't get love as a child, but that maybe she got too much and soon took it for granted. She remembered her first try at love. The woman was a professor of philosophy in college near Robin's apartment. And they met through a local club. They went out together quite often. The philosopher was always asking her out on dates. Unfortunately, where she went, her best friend always went. Robin didn't understand it but went along with the friend being there to try to appease the philosopher. But soon it felt like being chaperoned. When she started wondering if the professor really loved her, she would get depressed. They hadn't had sex yet and Robin wondered if they ever would. With the best friend always there, she felt intimidated and couldn't just let herself relax.

The first time Robin spent the night with her potential lover, she learned that the best friend would be staying, too. Something had happened at her apartment and she had no where else to go. Although, her soon-to-be lover had apologized for the interruption of their first night, it soon became apparent to Robin that the best friend was jealous of their relationship and would never leave them alone.

So, she resolved to leave them alone and lost her ideals of childhood that love was an abundant commodity. Instead, she learned the opposite was true, Love was a rare and special gift. Now she had a chance to make her life work with Jena and refused to let it go.

But she also decided that truth was better than lies. "You know," she said pulling from her memories and turning in Jena's arms. "I got real jealous when the captain was flirting with yo..."

"Don't be," Jena cut her off quickly, putting a hand over Robin's mouth to stop the words. "I want you to know that every bit of my heart belongs to you. And I also promised you no work this week. That includes being with flirting Captains. I keep my promises."

"I'm mummf..." Robin tried to mumble around Jena's hand. The taller woman removed her hand. "I know, honey. I just can't help it. But sometimes there's this little insecure kid inside me, who raises her green-eyed head with tiny invisible horns pop up," Robin demonstrated the horns and Jena chuckled at her lover. "On a different subject, I think we should follow the captain's idea and take a few turns on the dance floor at least one night."

"I couldn't agree with you more, Sweetheart," Jena said with a kiss to Robin's awaiting lips. "I..." Lips met lips. "love..." lips met longer. "you." The last kiss was more of a long, passionate, open mouth, warring tongue, losing breath type of kiss. When they parted to breathe, Robin's awakening body set ablaze. She wanted to make passionate love to her woman.

Other couples who had the same idea for a romantic walk around the boat, walked into a big surprise at the bow.

Robin rubbed her burning hips against Jena's muscular thighs. "Oh, baby, don't do that," Jena husked. "Unless you can start and finish it right here..." Jena looked around them. "With an audience?"

Robin looked startled as she joined Jena in peering at their surroundings. "Ummm..."

"I thought so. Come on," Jena said as she took Robin's hand and headed for their cabin.
