The day broke, fresh and fragrant, summer
definitely in the air and Lady Alison just could not bring Herself to stay
inside. There was someplace She wanted to go and She knew just who She wanted
to take with Her. Lady Alison made Her way into the kitchen and packed a
picnic basket, a smile on Her face as She let Her mind wander just a bit.
After She had the basket packed, She made Her way to kaie's room, the girl had
been fairly well behaved lately and deserved a treat and a day out of the
lodge. Lady Alison found kaie staring out the window towards the woods.
"Young one, up for getting outside and enjoying the beautiful day?"
Kaie stretched slowly as she stared out the window. It had been a quiet morning so far, and she was feeling a bit restless. When the door swung open she looked up in surprise to find Lady Alison standing there, picnic basket in hand.
She broke into a smile and took the offered hand gladly. “Sweet Lady Alison I am more then up for an offer like that.” She left her cloak laying on the window sill and followed Lady Alison looking forward to a relaxing day in the sunshine.
Lady Alison smiled warmly and placed a tender kiss on the back of kaie's hand. Together they headed down the stairs and out the door where a soft cool breeze greeted them. The sun was warming everything up nicely and the songs of a myriad of birds greeting them.
"How are your patrols going? I do hope you are learning to behave, young one."
Kaie laughed and gave a half-hearted attempt at a pout. “You mean it isn’t showing M’Lady? I have been able to sit without a pillow for at least two days in a row now.” She turned her face towards the sun for a minute, enjoying its warming kiss. “But tell me please, where are we going today?”
Lady Alison so enjoyed the sound of kaie's laughter. "Yes young one it does show and I am quite pleased. As for where we are going, I wish to show you the most beautiful waterfalls and cave you've ever seen. I have not been there in quite sometime Myself."
Truth be told, She hadn't been there since a certain person betrayed Her and it was time to reclaim that spot.
“Waterfalls? Now that sounds like a perfect way to spend a day.” Kaie couldn’t help but share her laughter and smile today. She was feeling more and more at ease since her time spent with Caitlin on patrols and her heart was lighter then it had been in several years. She looked forward to a day of sight seeing and exploring this cave that Lady A mentioned.
"Yes My young one, waterfalls and breath taking ones at that. There is much natural beauty here in these lands and in My hand." Lady A gave kaie's hand a soft squeeze.
"So tell Me, do you regret coming here?"
Kaie took a deep breath as they walked, considering her answer carefully. “No…No M’Lady I don’t regret coming here at all. I do regret some of the things that happened to bring me here though. This place saved me from a life style that would have killed me sooner rather then later.” She smiled softly at the gentle warrior beside her, letting her eyes say the words of thanks for her.
Lady Alison listened carefully to kaie's words and saw even more in her eyes. Lady Alison stopped for a moment, set the basket down on the ground and pulled kaie in hugging her tenderly while placing a whisper soft kiss on her lips.
"I am glad you feel that way young one. The things of our past shape who we are and who we become, to change even one thing could set us on a whole different course. My past lead Me here, as did yours and I for one am damn glad it did, young one. You have brought much light and much mischief to this place and I thank you. You have already grown since arriving here and more is to come."
Lady A picked up the basket, after giving kaie a final squeeze, and they headed into the woods.
Kaie managed a quick peek into the basket and found to her delight a loaf of nutbread before Lady A shooed her away with a gentle swat. “Now now there should be some surprises left in there for us young one.”
With another laugh she drew her hand back out of the way and contented herself to following a path that Lady A seemed to know very well. “Is it far to these falls?”
Lady A had to laugh, kaie seemed to have a knack for bringing that out in Her. "We should be there about this same time day after tomorrow." Lady A's face showing nothing, but inside She was laughing. "Why do you ask? Have a hot date, young one?"
Kaie let her jaw drop as she stammered, “the day after tomorrow….tell me again why we walked instead of ridin…Ohhh Goddess what a place!” She was speechless after that first exclamation and stood staring at the beautiful cascade of water before them. She was not used to having the time to go slow and enjoy the wonderful sights around her. It was one of the things she delighted in most these days, having the time to do what she liked without running.
Her grin returned and she rolled her eyes at the Lady Alison who fooled her so easily into thinking they were hours from their destination.
Lady Alison slowly smiled as they stepped into view of the falls. Alison considered it Her private grotto and watching kaie drink it in gave Her much pleasure. Alison had always loved the fact that the cave, Her cave, could not be seen from the woods.
"Well young one, did I lie?"
That one was too good to pass up. “No M’Lady you didn’t although I’d love to see someone spank you if you ever did.” Her mischievous laugh was lost in the crashing of water in the pool below the falls as she stepped closer, drawn by the beauty and seclusion of this place.
“You said you haven’t been here in sometime? Why ever not? Its so peaceful here and nicely hidden too.”
Lady Alison gave kaie a couple playful swats. "Let us just say that as beautiful as this place is and as special as it is to Me, it is also a place of memories, young one."
Kaie sensed not all of those memories were good ones. She grew quiet and stood waiting, letting Lady Alison draw on those memories and either bury them again or share them as she chose.
Alison set the basket down in the shade of an old weeping willow, one of the reasons She loved this place as that tree, pulled out a blanket from the basket and spread it out. Lady Alison sat down, Her back against the tree and motioned for kaie to join Her.
She did so gladly, settling in with her curly head laying in the Lady’s lap as she look up at the beauty around them. She sensed a new tension in the Gentle Warrior but she didn’t know the reasons for it.
“I am glad you shared this place with me sweet Lady A, will you tell me how you found it?” She kept her voice soft, not willing to speak too loudly and disturb the tranquility of the area.
Lady Alison softly ran one hand thru kaie's hair and leaned down kissing her tenderly. It was time to exorcise old demons from this beautiful place.
"Long before you came here, I was just walking around one day lost in My own thoughts and kinda got lost and found Myself here. I was absolutely awed by the beauty of this place and there is more you haven't seen young one."
Lady Alison grew silent for a moment, "I used to come here a great deal, young one...mostly alone but there was one I shared this place with...long ago."
Kaie listened carefully as Lady Alison spoke. “What happened to her?”
Alison took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "She betrayed Me and others in the lodge and left. She was responsible for many drastic changes in Me, young one. We enjoyed this place many times."
Alison let out a sigh as an unexpected wave of pain hit Her.
A deep scowl settled on Kaie’s face when she saw the pain in Lady Alison’s face. She couldn’t understand anyone betraying the wonderful K/kindred she found in the lodge much less intentionally hurting the Gentle Warrior.
“Is.. this the first time you came back here then? And you brought me?”
"I came back here once but the hurt was still too fresh and I haven't been back since then." Lady A softly caressed kaie's face. "Why do you seem surprised, young one?"
“I don’t know, I guess I am surprised you chose to share it with me. And is the hurt easier to bear now?”
Alison smiled down into kaie's lovely face, "It was a long time ago young one and time does much to heal old wounds. It is time to make this a place of happiness and serenity again and there is no one I would rather do that with than you."

"Can you see the cave I spoke of from here, young one?"
Kaie nodded through a mouthful and pointed towards the well hidden entrance. She didn’t have to look up to know Lady Alison was surprised.
“You forget M’Lady, I can always sense where the deepest shadows are, it’s just a natural talent for me.”
“What’s inside?”
Lady Alison had to smile, when the initial shock wore off. She had forgotten, kaie was an expert at running and hiding...she would be keen for hiding places.
"Some beautiful rock formations, a fire pit, dug by yours truly, a wonderful natural ledge just made for a warrior to sit on whilst warming a backside."
Kaie swallowed a little harder then normal at the mention of backside warming but her curiosity got the better of her. She tossed the few crumbs of her food for the birds to enjoy and climbed to her feet holding her hand out to help Lady A stand.
“Well? What are we waiting for? Let’s go see!”

Alison began swimming towards the waterfall, coming up behind it. She climbed out of the water into the cave and waited for kaie to join Her. It looked like everything was as She had left it...even the fire pit was ready to be lit, which She did as soon as kaie stepped up out of the water, the firelight sparkling off the walls. Alison shook Her head briefly as a memory went thru Her mind, She quickly pushed it away...it would be replaced. The sound of the rushing water echoed softly in their ears. Kaie glanced around at the fire dancing against the caves walls and leaned back into Lady Alison’s embrace. “I think it’s quiet and secluded and dark, just like I like.”
Lady Alison stood there with kaie leaning back against Her, soaking in the feeling of having her in Her arms in this place. When Alison decided it was time to come back here it was kaie's name that came to Her mind, it was as it was meant to be.

Alison groaned as She felt kaie enter Her. "By all means, do continue."
Soon the sounds of Alison's moans began growing louder, Her young one knew Her too well and was doing everything in her power to push the warrior over the edge...Alison was doing Her best not to go over that edge, She was taking great delight in what kaie was doing to Her.
Kaie grinned, she enjoyed a good challenge. When kaie moved to Lady Alison's neck a growl escaped the warrior. Kaie knew what messing around with Alison's neck did and she was messing around quite well. It took only moments before Lady Alison's moans began to change, growing urgent and demanding.

Kaie didn’t intend to stop or slow down and she didn’t as she kept up a steady rhythm an covered Lady Alison’s neck with tiny nibbles as she felt the warrior drawing closer and closer.
It did not take long before the sounds of Alison's release filled the cave, reverberating off the walls as She trembled and shook. She cried out Her young one's name as she drove Her into bliss.
Kaie slowed her fingers little by little until the shudders had stopped and she slid them free, leaning against the Warrior once more as she licked them clean one by one. She was impressed, the walls held up and the echoes were wonderful. She hoped they were enough to drive the old painful memories from the place.
Lady Alison let out a growl when She watched kaie lick her fingers clean, it was a most erotic sight and the wench knew it too. Lady Alison wrapped Her arms tightly around kaie, "Young one...thank you for more than you will ever know. You have given Me back something I thought was lost to Me forever..." Kaie just smiled as she rested against the Warrior’s chest. “I am glad to help you replace bad memories M’Lady. And I thank you for sharing this place with me, its very special here and peaceful.”
They were silent for several minutes, each wrapped in their own thoughts and resting contently until Kaie stomach rumbled loud and clear.
Kaie glanced around with a quiet giggle, “I think that means its dinner time. I’ll get the basket! I know I know, I’m the wench.” Still laughing lightly she slid off those naked thighs and pulled the basket of goodies closer.
Lady Alison laughed, "Warriors do get the best views you know." She did not disguise Her watching of kaie's sexy backside as it danced deliciously.
"After we eat young one, I think you will make a dandy dessert...well you and those strawberries. And while you are up you might as well set that container of chocolate near the fire." Dessert, indeed!
Kaie did as Lady A instructed and spread the blanket for them closer to the fire before pouring them both a drink. Once Lady A was settled, she crawled across it to claim a spot for her head in the Warrior’s lap while they ate.
They passed the day, swimming, talking, playing and enjoying the wonders of each other. Kaie seemed to enjoy exploring the recesses of the cave and Lady Alison took delight in her curiosity and her appreciation of this treasured place.
As they headed back to the lodge, Lady Alison stopped, pulled kaie tight and whispered in her ear, “Anytime you wish, the cave is yours, My young one.”
